Snickerdoodles with this old cookbook – The Cookie Book (my copy is a newer edition that is also out of print). Eleanore loved rolling the balls and dipping them in cinnamon sugar.
Making these autumn leaf fairies.
Eleanore is in love with her leaf sprite. She even had to watch while we made the pretzels, and she carried her around all day.
Mixing up pretzel dough and baking them.
We also took a long nature hike with friends.
and found some sandhill cranes!
