I use the Oxo food mill which operates slightly differently. I use it to make applesauce from home grown apples. Just quarter whole apples, boil them soft, and the food mill takes out all the seeds and skins. Run the sauce through a blender, add sugar and cinnamon, and boil down to make apple butter.
