but getting ready!
My bag is almost completely packed,
the freezer is filling up,
I’m washing diapers and baby clothes,
and am trying to take as many naps as possible while I still can 
Only 5 1/2 more weeks to go until my due date! We do still have this mess to deal with:
but those things don’t have to be done before the baby arrives anyway, except for the car seat, since the baby will be in our room for at least the first three months.
I’ve been knitting a bit, but have definitely slowed down lately. I finished these shorties out of purewool (click on the pic for more details):
and the baby surprise, which I love. I still need to sew on the buttons, but other than that, it’s finished:
I thought the pattern was wonderful, although this page of notes was VERY helpful.
Right now I’m knitting up a pair of baby socks and another pair of shorties, this time striped. Every time I do stripes, I complain about how much I hate them, but they look so darn cute even though they take three times as long.
