Standstill

By Lisa

My Horcrux socks are at a stand still. I love the yarn, I love the pattern, but last week was so stressful that I made quite a few mistakes. The last straw was when I realized I knit the gussett too far and now I’m going to have to rip back. I reallllly don’t feel up to that, so I did what I never do. I cast on for another pair.
Speed Demon Sock
I’m using Sweet Georgia Speed Demon Sock in English Bay. Yes, the currently on hiatus dyer. And of course, I love love love the yarn. Oh well, I’ve purchased enough sock yarn lately to tide me over….

You heard that right ~ I’ve been buying sock yarn. So I officially consider myself out of the Stashalong. Look out for pics sometime soon of my stash enhancement ~ it’s yummy. I could almost single handedly blame The Loopy Ewe ~ only 2 more orders until I’m a Loopy Groupie! And I hadn’t even ordered from her prior to a month ago.

In addition to yarn, I also bought myself a little toy recently, after reading about it on someone’s blog (sorry I don’t remember who’s!).
Unazukin
It’s an Unazukin, and it’s adorable! When you ask it a question, it either shakes its head no, or nods its head yes. I bought it from J-List, and it arrived quickly all the way from Japan in perfect condition. They have lots of Japanese goodies, including other types of toys… teehee and TONS of Hello Kitty stuff.

On the TTC front, I’m just playing the monthly waiting game. I really hate this time of the month as I always seem to get my hopes up, and then I’m devastated. Sigh. Infertility sucks.

Hi! I’m Katze from O/S in the IUI buddy groups.

I love that you’re doing horcrux socks. I also know now that you’re an HP fan, because only an HP fan would use that word. Good luck with them!

I’ve decided to go to Vegas for the final book release. Insane, no?
