Plath’s Adventures

Just a lil update on me. Things are going great in Plath Land! I’ve even managed to get my knitting bug back and have had 3 FOs in the past week. Here is one:

I just heard from my One Skein swap pal this morning, and have emailed my pal this past week as well. Now I just have to figure out what to send her

Still Around

Just not much knitting going on. Hmrf. I just realized it’s been almost a month since I last posted, and I’m still working on the stupid stupid socks I started way back when. sigh.

It does seem, however, that I do tend to go into a knitting funk every spring. The garden is usually calling my name and interferes with my knitting. This year, though, it’s not really the garden, but work that is distracting me. Remember my temp job as a receptionist at a law firm? Well, I now work for said law firm permantently, not as a temp. The pay is much nicer, the job is steady, but it’s not teaching. Although, I am making more than I was teaching at the private school I was with a few years ago. So, I shall just deal for the time being.

Not to mention the fact that I’m rather tied up with a personal issue I really, really hope mends itself sooner rather than later.

I really hope the knitting bug bites again soon. I have all this yarn to use
